Blackfield’s own solar plant: 950 kW AC

01Challenge

This is our first solar plant, and Blackfield started with it. On our own plant we learned what it means to be an owner before we began building for clients.

950 kW of inverter capacity is paired with 1,299 kW of modules, a DC/AC ratio of 1.37. The extra module capacity lets the plant stay at full power for longer in the morning and evening. Almost all output goes to the grid; about 2 % is consumed on site.
